Business process for the purchase of services proceeds as follows:

• Employers determine the amount of points. They may choose to make a purchase by taking on the total cost or may propose to share costs with the employees.
• Employers sign the contract and pay for the points.
• Employers distribute Commodus points to the employees according to the organisational priorities (recognition, gifts, see section How to distribute points)
• Employees activate their accounts and personalize their profiles.
• Employees shop and use services. They can only exceed the number of allotted points by purchasing additional points or if the employer offers them more points.
